Application for Doctoral Program in Pharmacology and Toxicology, Faculty of Medicine, Academic Year 114

Direct Ph.D. Admission Quota: 2 slots (interchangeable with general exam slots) 

1. Eligibility Requirements:
(1) Outstanding final-year bachelor's students with excellent academic performance and demonstrated research potential.
(2) Master’s students with excellent academic performance and demonstrated research potential.
Students who meet the above requirements must submit a “Direct Ph.D. Study Research Proposal” and obtain recommendations from at least two professors from their current or related departments.

2. Application Schedule and Process: 
1. Application Period: From December 16, 2024, to January 10, 2025.
2. Application Process: Eligible candidates should submit the following required documents to the Admissions Section of the Academic Affairs Office within the application period. 

📌Required Documents: Please arrange the documents in order using paper clips or binder clips, place them in a folder, and write the applicant's name and the department applying to on the cover.

(2) Transcripts, during the semester through the 113-1 semester, due by 7/2/114 (Fri).
(3)Resume, Personal Statement, and Other Supporting Documents (such as research experience, achievements, or draft papers).
(4) Research proposal

📢This program offers the Professor Lee Jer-Fu Scholarship, in addition to the annual on-campus scholarships. It will provide extra funding to one Ph.D. student per year for each of the first through fourth years. For more details, please refer to the program's website. 

The funding for first-year Ph.D. students is equivalent to the tuition and fees for one academic year (approximately 100,000 TWD, based on the university's announced fee amount). 
The scholarship for second-year Ph.D. students is NT$144,000 (an additional NT$12,000 per month). 
The scholarship for third- and fourth-year Ph.D. students (upon passing the qualifying exam) is NT$180,000 (an additional NT$15,000 per month). 
The results of the review will be based on the decision of the Scholarship Review Committee.
