The aim of this training course is to enhance the new workers’ laboratory knowledge including occupational safety and health knowledge, potential risks and hazards and preventing personnel from accidents. This training aims to enhance the safety knowledge of laboratory personnel, helping them understand potential risks to prevent accidents and minimize injuries.
According to the regulations of the Occupational Safety and Health Act, new master or PhD students working in a laboratory must participate in the Occupational Safety and Health Training.
The training has two parts:
1. General Safety and Health Training (3 hours): Required for all who will access a laboratory.
2. Chemical Hazards General Education Training (3 hours): Required for all who will use chemicals.
In-person classes will be held on campus in September and October 2025.
