Eligibility to Apply
Graduates (including fresh graduates) from life science-related graduate schools of public or private universities in Taiwan or other countries that are accredited by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China.
II. Those who meet the criteria for recognition of equivalent qualifications for admission to universities.*

*Students who possess one of the following qualifications are eligible to apply for the first-year admission examination of the doctoral program of the University with the same degree of competence:
Students who have completed two years of study and have completed the required subjects and credits for graduation (excluding thesis), and who have failed to graduate for any reason, and who have withdrawn from school or taken a leave of absence for one year or more, and who have a certificate of completion or a certificate of leave of absence with transcripts of the previous years, and who have submitted a work of writing that is equivalent to the standard of thesis for a master's degree.
A student who has completed his/her doctoral studies without passing the doctoral candidacy examination or the doctoral examination, and who has a certificate of completion or a certificate of suspension of study with transcripts of the previous years, and who has submitted a work equivalent to the standard of a master's thesis.
Graduated from a university with a bachelor's degree in medicine or dentistry, and have been trained for more than two years in the relevant specialties, and have submitted a work equivalent to a master's thesis.
Graduated from a university with a bachelor's degree, engaged in the work related to the applicant's department for more than five years, and has submitted works equivalent to the standard of a master's thesis.
V. Passing the following national examinations, holding a certificate of passing, and having worked for more than six years in the field related to the department they are applying for, and presenting a work equivalent to a master's thesis:
(a) A pass in the Higher Civil Service Examination or the First, Second or Third Class Specialized Examination.
(b) Pass in the Higher Examination for Specialized Vocational and Technical Personnel or a special examination of equivalent level.

1. Current undergraduate students who are graduating this academic year (before July 31, 2026) have achieved excellent academic performance during their studies, and demonstrate research potential.
2. Current master's students with excellent academic records and clear research potential.

Notes: 1. Application dates and interview times are the same as for entrance examinations and will be subject to the official announcement from the university. 2. First-year academic performance for master's students will be based on the overall average of the first semester. 3. Required Documents: Please arrange the documents in order, using paper clips or binder clips, place them in an envelope and write the applicant's name and the department on the outside of the envelope and submit them to the Registration Section of the Academic Affairs Office at Tzu Chi University. 4.
